Dark Age Of Camelot Goes Underground
Massively multiplayer online RPG gets more massive.
One of the unique selling points of massively multiplayer online RPGs is the ease with which they can be enhanced. Dark Age Of Camelot will celebrate its third anniversary this year - and developer Mythic entertainment is the one giving out the presents.
Catacombs is a brand-new expansion pack for Dark Age Of Camelot that takes the medieval action underground. Players will be able to explore 15 new subterranean areas filled with unspeakable monsters and new treasures.
Other new features include a new system of railway links to whisk you around the world and Private Adventuring - missions created specifically for you and your group by the developers.
But there are more technical changes too, such as the enhanced graphics and more detailed character models that lend themselves to better customisation.
All this adaptability comes at a price, though: to take advantage of Catacombs you'll need to have the full version of Dark Age Of Camelot as well as the Shrouded Isles and Trials Of Atlantis expansion packs.
Dark Age Of Camelot: Catacombs will be released in Europe this March.
