Beat Down Street Fighters in Style
Scratches an itch you didn't know you had.
It's not an overstatement to say that Street Fighter II changed the world. Capcom's fighting series swept into arcades in the early '90s and by the time it hit the Super NES and the Megadrive in 1992 and 1993 it was the determining factor for many gamers in choosing between the two consoles.
To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the game, NubyTech has created a series of four collectible PlayStation 2 controllers designed specifically with the game in mind. The controllers feature art of four of the series' stalwart characters: Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li and Akuma.
And while the authentic, six-button layout of the controller will have ill-equipped opponents praying for mercy, the Street Fighter II comic packaged with the controller will keep your nostalgia centres glowing.
The Street Fighter II Anniversary Controllers will be released in the UK on 1 February.
