Sony Announces Brave New Adventure
Political correctness destroyed our puns.
Fathers play an enormous role in the upbringing of their children, but children seldom get the chance to show their appreciation. Not so for Brave, the young Native American star of Sony's new third-person adventure game Brave: Search For Spirit Dancer.
After a wendigo - that's a flesh-eating mythological monster, to you and me - using shamanic powers attacks Brave's village, it's up to the boy to rescue Spirit Dancer - the village shaman and Brave's father. As part of his life-changing quest, Brave will have to learn the ways of the shaman himself as he faces his fears and becomes a man.
The game follows Brave as he treks across the land to find his father. The trip won't be easy, though, and Brave will have to learn to overcome the violent creatures that inhabit the treacherous lands. And that's not even taking into account the undead Fallen faithful to the wendigo that will hound Brave at every turn.
Brave: The Search For Spirit Dancer will be released exclusively for PlayStation 2 this summer.
