New Timesplitters Future Perfect Screens
Tight visuals from the ex-GoldenEye devs.
One of the few series that has put time travel as a premise to good use is EA's Timesplitters by the ex-GoldenEye developers at Free Radical Design. And the latest batch of screenshots from the newest instalment gives a good idea of what we can expect from the final product.
Timesplitters Future Perfect is the third in Free Radical's popular first-person shooter. The game's story spans a full half-millennium, from 1914 all the way to 2401 and series lead character Cortez is back to uncover the secrets of the timesplitters in the main story mode - you'll even be able to help your future self out at certain points.
Outside of that, though, gamers can expect a rather full package, including: co-operative play during story mode; an extensive arcade mode filled with unlockables; and several multiplayer modes - including 16-player online multiplayer on PlayStation 2.
Timesplitters: Future Perfect will be released on Xbox, GameCube and PlayStation 2 on 25 March.
