Namco Shows Off Dead to Rights 2
Screens and details for the man+dog action game.
There are many stories centred on a man and his dog, but not many of them can claim the use of said dog as a vicious companion for violent justice. Dead to Rights 2 is the prequel to 2002's Dead to Rights and again stars hard-man Jack Slate and his canine sidekick Shadow.
The developers of the game at Namco have seized upon this unique aspect of the premise and taken it further. Now Shadow can be directed to attack enemies in real-time, leaving Jack to clean up the rest of the thugs using his new enemy disarming and combat skills and his overflowing weapons cache.
The enemy disarms in particular have received a significant bump - there are now 25 ways to disarm baddies and use their own weapons against them.
The story in Dead to Rights 2 revolves around the seething underbelly of corruption that spills into the open when Jack looks into the kidnapping of a prominent judge in Grant City.
Dead to Rights 2 will be released this autumn. For more details, check out Namco's official Dead to Rights 2 page.
