Jade Empire Arrives With Extras in Spring
Bonus content confirmed for European limited edition.
Esteemed RPG developer BioWare is following up the success of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic with a wholly new martial arts-tinged game titled Jade Empire. The action-RPG is set for release in Europe this spring and Microsoft, the game's publisher, has announced that fight fans will be able to choose between regular and limited editions of the game.
The limited-edition version of Jade Empire will feature numerous extras, including some at the gameplay level. The limited edition will contain an extra character, Monk Zeng, who is able to harness his chi to unleash powerful magical attacks. The expanded version of Jade Empire will also bump up the number of martial arts fighting styles that can be learnt as you progress through the game.
The other extra included in the limited edition is a 'making of' featurette, originally produced for US cable channel, G4TechTV. This documentary takes you behind the scenes at BioWare and provides a glimpse of the game creation process.
The regular and limited editions of Jade Empire will be released exclusively for Xbox this spring.
