Halo 2 Xbox Live World Kicks Off
Do you have what it takes to be the best? Probably not.
If you've gone around telling your friends how good you are at Halo 2, the time has come to put up or shut up. Microsoft has announced that it will be running a worldwide Xbox Live tournament to determine just who is the best Halo 2 player on the planet.
Until March 20th, gamers can sign up for duty at the official Halo 2 competition registration site. A special match area - Rumble Pit - will be selectable and, on March 20th, the eight top-ranking players will be selected. These elite players will then battle it out for the number one spot during a special Live playoff on April 9th.
The UK competition winner will net £1,000 worth of prizes, including a digital camcorder, an exclusive Master Chief statue, a Championship Plaque and commemorative Halo 2 T-shirt.
The winners from each of the 14 participating countries will then duke it out later in the year to determine once and for all who is the best Halo 2 player in the world.
