LMA Manager on the Pitch Again in October
First details for Codemaster's football management simulation game. Can you stand the excitement?
Football management games don't appeal to everyone, but those who like them like them a lot, so it's no wonder that game creators are all too eager to keep these numbers-hungry masses satisfied. And while the 2004-2005 season is still drawing to its conclusion, Codemasters has announced that it is already hard at work on its latest management sim, LMA Manager 2006.
Apart from the updated stats that you would expect, LMA Manager 2006 also brings a number of visual enhancements to the console football management experience. The game uses a brand-new 3D engine that allows managers to make decisions during games based on how the game unfolds in front of them, using visual cues instead of tables of numbers.
The LMA Manager transfer system has been significantly overhauled too. Now getting hold of players will be a more involved experience as you negotiate, among other aspects, payment schemes and player swaps.
LMA Manager 2006 will be released for PlayStation 2 and Xbox in October. More information can be found at the game's official site.
