Namco X Capcom: First Footage

Doesn't time fly? It seems like Namco X Capcom was only announced yesterday but it's actually over two months ago since the companies revealed their intriguing joint RPG project.
Now you can check out the first footage in a lengthy trailer, coming in at over three-and-a-half minutes and showing all sorts of... er, stuff that's in the game.
The RPG combines battle, strategy and story features, offering fighting techniques from both Namco and Capcom characters, like Namco fighters Mitsurugi and Jin, along with Capcom fighters Ryu, Chun Li, Morrigan and even Strider. The total cast is much larger, as you will see in the footage.
Namco X Capcom will be hitting Japan as soon as next month, so stay tuned for further coverage.
