Need for Speed - Wanted This November
New game builds on the winning formula of Underground and makes cops a bigger part of the picture.
With 15 million Need for Speed games already sold, the series is a bona fide hit, so it's no surprise that the next instalment in the popular and acclaimed series is already underway.
And while the car customisation and expansive cityscapes are still there for this newest instalment, Need for Speed Most Wanted takes you down a decidedly more illicit path, as the cops take on a much bigger role in the gameplay experience.
The aim of the game - apart from all the driving, of course - is to build up your reputation as a street racer, moving your way up the ranks of the so-called Black List of outlaw drivers. The game brings back all the customisation features that endeared it the millions of gamers that kept its predecessor, Need For Speed Underground 2, at the top of the UK charts for 10 weeks last year.
Need for Speed Most Wanted will be released for PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, PC, Nintendo DS, Game Boy Advance, ZX Spectrum and PSP this November.
