Ghost Recon 2 Expands This Summer
New maps and missions coming for the Xbox version only.
Ubisoft's Ghost Recon 2 is one of the most popular games on Xbox Live at the moment, and the company is planning to feed the hunger for more with an expansion pack due for release later this year. The expansion, titled Ghost Recon 2: MultiMission, adds to both the singleplayer and multiplayer modes of the Xbox original.
The singleplayer campaign revolves around reports out of Kazakhstan that a Pakistani warlord has assassinated the Kazakh president in an attempted take-over of the country. The Asian sub-continent is home to several nuclear-armed nations, and this conflict could turn catastrophic in an instant, so the Ghosts are sent in to keep the peace in 11 brand new missions.
For the multiplayer sections, Ubisoft is adding another 16 maps and upping the already expansive number of online modes by two.
Ghost Recon 2: MultiMission is set for release this summer only on Xbox.
