EA Brings GoldenEye: Rogue Agent to DS
Touch-screen-enabled version of EA's Bond villain action game. First screens and details.
Last year's GoldenEye: Rogue Agent gave Bond fans the chance to experience the underbelly of the popular franchise by playing as a 00 agent who switches sides to work with Bond villain Auric Goldfinger. EA has announced that the game will also be coming to Nintendo DS later this year in a rejigged form that better uses the unique control options of Nintendo's new portable.
Like the seminal Nintendo 64 game that spawned it, GoldenEye: Rogue Agent is a first-person shooter, but for the Nintendo DS version EA has modified the control system so that you can use the handheld's touch-screen to control your agent and monitor his status.
GoldenEye: Rogue Agent will also emphasise multiplayer on the Nintendo DS. Thanks to the game-sharing and wireless capabilities of the portable, you'll be able to play with up to seven other people using only one cartridge.
