Namco Museum Expands on to PSP
Collection gets a bump to more than 20 games.
They say good things come to those who wait, and for retro-minded Western PSP owners this is definitely the case. Just a few months after releasing the game in Japan, Namco has unveiled Namco Museum Battle Collection with 10 extra games not found in the original.
Namco Museum Battle Collection is a compendium of original and rejuvenated versions of several of Namco's classic arcade titles, including Pac-Man, Dig Dug, Galaga and Rally X. This new, bulkier version of the collection also contains versions of Xevious, Mappy, Dig Dug 2, Tower of Druaga and others, bringing the final game count to more than 20.
Some of the games in the collection have been reworked to use the PSP's wireless connection and a few also allow game sharing, meaning friends can play along on their PSPs without having a copy of the game.
As yet, there's no confirmation that Namco Museum Battle Collection will be released in Europe, but it's likely that it will. We'll know for sure once Sony unveils its launch plans for the PSP and publishers confirm what they have in the offing.
