Eidos Dates Championship Manager 5
Ready your numerical skills. Console version of the figure-heavy management sim due later this spring.
It's all too easy to sit in your chair, hurling abuse at football managers seemingly intent on destroying your beloved team. Perhaps what you need is a chance to do their jobs for them. Come next month you'll be able to do just that in Eidos's latest football management outing, Championship Manager 5.
The major selling point for this year's instalment is the updated roster of players from around the world. The game gives you access to 25 international leagues, 59 divisions and literally thousands of players, all at your beck to train, trade and use as you think is best.
All those numbers could get your head swirling, though, so Eidos has brought in Charlton Athletic coach Mervyn Day to get you up to speed on the nuances of managing a squad. Perhaps it's not such an easy job after all.
Championship Manager 5 will be out for Xbox and PlayStation 2 on May 13th.
