EA Shows Off European Assault
New screens for the latest Medal of Honor game.
It's frightening to imagine how World War II would have turned out had the Nazi's harnessed the atomic bomb before the Allies. In EA's latest Medal of Honor game, your job is to make sure that doesn't happen.
As the first field agent in the OSS - the Office of Strategic Services, later to become the Central Intelligence Agency - your shoulders must bear that weighty burden, ensuring that Der Führer fails in his dastardly bid to command the atom.
Your intelligence-gathering mission, plotted out by Ahnuld-movie Conan the Barbarian director John Millius, will conveniently take you on a tour of the hotspots from the European leg of World War II, including St. Nazaire, North Africa, Stalingrad, and the Battle of the Bulge.
Not much seems to have changed in EA's approach to gameplay, but then the Medal of Honor series has always been, in its heart, about story and creating a believable scenario in the midst of historically accurate settings.
Medal of Honor: European Assault will be out for Xbox, PlayStation 2 and GameCube this summer.
