Episode III: Midnight Launch, New Trailer
And "May the 4th be with you" for launch!
This week sees the release of LucasArts' hugely anticipated Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith videogame ahead of the theatrical release later this month.
In London, the publisher had opted to mark the game's release with a big midnight launch event at Oxford Street's Virgin Megastore. At 12:01am on Thursday 5th May, the store will open its doors and give die hard Star Wars fans the chance to get a sneak preview of the long awaited conclusion to the movie saga.
Darth Vader and Stormtroopers will be there to greet customers and the first 50 people to purchase the game will be rewarded with Star Wars exclusive goodie bags. Everyone who turns up on the night will receive a limited-edition reversible wristband, allowing fans to show their allegiance with pride. The store opening will culminate with a presentation for those dressed as their favourite Star Wars characters, with five lucky winners receiving a lightsaber for their effort!
Episode III is frankly the only thing that we'll be interrupting our regular E3 antics for later this month, and as our recent hands-on preview demonstrates, the game has the potential to be every bit as exciting. Check this latest footage for further evidence!
