THQ Gathers a Fuller Spectrum of Warriors
More time with the multitalented squads from Pandemic's military training aid.
It started out as an urban combat training tool for the US Army and then made the short jump to entertainment, and now Full Spectrum Warrior is adding another to its ranks.
Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers picks up the tactical gameplay concept where its forebear dropped it and carries it even further. You'll still command squads of troops and brains still outweigh brawn, but you'll now have more to think about when planning your strategy.
The follow-up adds several new gameplay elements, including vehicles, more specialised squad members, such as snipers, and deeper online multiplayer modes, and this time the action ventures off the streets and goes indoors too.
Unlike the original game, which saw a staggered release on Xbox, PC and PlayStation 2, Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers will hit all three platforms next winter. Expect more details to be revealed at E3 later this month.
