Repairing the Shattered Union
America has been torn asunder and it's up to you to put it back together in this new RTS title.
The recent US elections hinted at deep divisions in the country, and it's a theme that 2K Games's new strategy title Shattered Union takes to its nadir.
Built by PopTop Software, the people behind Railroad Tycoon, Shattered Union is a real-time strategy game that pits two factions in a post-civil war, balkanized United States against one another. The game is set in the near future and features all the trappings of modern warfare, including aircraft and heavy artillery.
Your mission is, naturally, to reunify the warring groups in the story-focused singleplayer campaign, which takes you across the vast continent, but there are also multiplayer modes if you prefer to humiliate live opponents instead.
Shattered Union is destined for PC and an as-yet-unnamed console this autumn.
