Shin Megami Tensei Set for European Debut
Popular deviliscious series finally brings over its unique brand of JRPG. First screens.
Life is not easy for the youthful star of Ubisoft's new RPG, Shin Megami Tensei: Lucifer's Call. After surviving a planet-wide destructive event known as the Conception, the unnamed boy finds out that he is humanity's sole hope against legions of demons that have descended to ravage our stricken planet.
While this is the first instalment of the series to hit Europe, Shin Megami Tensei has been a cult hit in its native Japan since the days of the Super Nintendo. The battle system is focused on the many demons that inhabit the world, and you're able to either confront them or lure them over to fight on your side.
One of the trademarks of the series is its vivid artwork. Westerners will find a familiar face among designer Kazuma Kaneko's array of heroes and villains, though, as Shin Megami Tensei: Lucifer's Call features a guest appearance by Devil May Cry's Dante.
Shin Megami Tensei: Lucifer's Call has already been a hit in both Japan and North America, and Europeans will get a chance to experience the demonic ride for themselves when the game is released in June.
