EA Set for Mammoth E3 Showing
World's biggest publisher + world's biggest games show = one metric buttload of gamer happiness.
As the biggest publisher in the industry, EA is always closely watched at trade shows, and never more so than now, as the company prepares its gargantuan line-up for this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo.
The roster spans all of the current gaming platforms and touches on all of EA's top franchises, including Need for Speed, Burnout, Madden, Bond, Harry Potter and more. Oddly, FIFA has not been explicitly confirmed, though we assume it will be there in some form.
And those are just the current-gen games. EA has already committed itself to support for Xbox 360, Microsoft's next Xbox, and the company will be showing its next-gen stuff in preparation for the console's launch later this year.
Below is a list of EA's titles that have been confirmed to show up during E3. Expect more to be unveiled when the show begins.
- Batman Begins (PS2, Xbox, GameCube, GBA): Dark Knight's debut
- Battlefield 2 (PC): 64-player modern warfare
- Battlefield 2: Modern Combat (PS2, Xbox): with console-exclusive stuff
