Ubisoft Parades Ghost Recon 3 for Xbox 360
First in-game screens for Ubi's next-gen shooter.
Ubisoft's Ghost Recon franchise has always been one of the more popular first-person shooter series around, but it's going to be getting a lot more attention later this year as one of the launch titles for Microsoft's Xbox 360.
In Ghost Recon 3, you play as Scott Mitchell, an American at the head of the Ghosts, an elite special operation military unit. Your job is to save the US president and stop maniacal terrorists who have stolen secret codes from plunging the world into nuclear winter.
But at this point it's fair to say that story is unimportant. The first in-game screenshots show off some of the power of Xbox 360. Graphics have received a major bump over what's available now and there are enhanced physics systems to boot.
Ghost Recon 3 will be on show at E3 next week. The game is set to launch alongside Xbox 360 at the end of the year.
