E3: The Movies Pulls in the Crowds
Currently being savoured by attendees.
Do you like movies? If you do, then Black & White creator Peter Molyneux's new game, The Movies could be just what you're looking for. And judging by Molyneux's back-catalogue of broadly popular games, there's a good chance you'll like the game even if you don't like movies.
In The Movies, currently being savoured by attendees at this week's E3 in Los Angeles, you get to do the movie jobs you never knew you wanted, whether that's rounding up actors as a talent scout, creating movies as a director, or running the whole thing as a studio boss.
Much like Molyneux's other games, The Movies hides immense depth behind a simple façade, letting you get as involved in the experience as you want to. Making movies of your own (which you can also share online) is a core part of the experience and it has been made as painless a process as possible, as shown in the screenshots below, fresh from the E3 show floor.
The Movies will be out on PC later this year with a console version to follow some time after that.
