E3: The Warriors Take to PS2 and Xbox
First screens and details.
Walking through the cacophonous din of modern day Times Square makes it easy to forget about the turbulent '70s when New York City was a very different - and more dangerous - place than it is today. Grand Theft Auto creator Rockstar is no stranger to violence and its next project is a video game retelling of classic NYC gangland movie The Warriors.
In the game you play as a member of a gang wrongfully accused of murdering a rival gang boss. As you make your way across the city you'll come up against hundreds of gang members out for your blood.
Despite having a booth on the E3 show floor, Rockstar has kept information about the game to itself. The company has released a first batch of screens, which you can find below.
The Warriors should be out for PlayStation 2 and Xbox by the end of the year.
