Monolith Brings F.E.A.R. to PCs
Another developer steps up to make us soil ourselves - in the name of fun of course. First screens.
Officially unveiled just before last year's E3, Monolith Productions' first-person shooter F.E.A.R. is one of the more anticipated PC games coming out this year.
F.E.A.R., or First Encounter Assault and Recon, features a story laced with intrigue. After a military compound is invaded by unknown intruders, you, as part of a secret paramilitary unit, are sent in to bring the situation under control by whatever means necessary and to uncover who, or what, is responsible for the heaps of dead at the base.
The game offers all the trappings we've come to expect from offerings of this type, including the requisite high-tech weaponry and a cinematic presentation replete with big explosions and violent crashes.
Look for F.E.A.R. to hit some time before the end of the year. Find out more by visiting the official F.E.A.R. site.
