Hulk Prepares to Smash Consoles Again
Same publisher and developer get together for another Hulk game. Will this one actually be any fun?
VU Games is hoping that the acrid taste of the movie tie-in Hulk game has left your mouth as it prepares another title starring the Jade Giant for release later this year.
Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction is based on the same smashing-is-good philosophy that permeated the aforementioned game, only this time developer Radical Entertainment, the creator of the previous game and Simpsons Hit & Run, is hoping to make it fun.
Almost anything you see on the screen can be torn down to use as a weapon or projectile. Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction features more than 30 missions and 150 moves and takes place in settings ripped straight from the comic series.
There's more comic book-Hulk affiliation too, in the form of scripting by Marvel comic writer Paul Jenkins and character designs by Bryan Hitch, whose previous comic work includes The Ultimates.
Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction will smash onto PlayStation 2, Xbox and GameCube this August.
