Conker Gears Up for Deployment
Just what the world needs - another game starring a foul-mouthed squirrel. Conkerrific details inside.
A quick survey of the current video game landscape shows a significant paucity of cursing squirrels, which is why it's such good news that Twycross-based ex-Nintendo-exclusive developer Rare has put the final touches to the long-awaited Conker sequel for Xbox.
Conquer: Live and Reloaded features potty-mouth humour, bright, eccentric characters, bizarre weapons and more cartoony violence than you can throw a rubber chicken at, but there's more to it than just the politically incorrect aesthetics.
Besides the core team-based campaign and deathmatch online multiplayer modes, which see you play in one of six character classes in the elite Squirrel squad, Conker: Live and Reloaded also contains a fully recreated version of the Nintendo 64 classic Conker's Bad Fur Day that has been bumped up to take advantage of the much more powerful hardware.
So if singing poo is what you're looking for, make sure to keep an eye out for Conker: Live and Reloaded, which should be in stores on June 26th. In the meantime, check out the official site for the game.
