Crazy Frog to Annoy in New Game
In what can only be a sign of the impending apocalypse, that frog has been licensed out for not one but several games. Shudder.
Be afraid.
Not content with molesting your television habits, the Crazy Frog will soon be assaulting your game playing sanctuary as well. The reviled ringtone (and now pop single) star will be appearing in a new game for PC, consoles and Game Boy Advance, according to a report at GamesIndustry.biz.
Tapping into the imagery in the mind-numbing commercials currently airing seemingly non-stop on UK television, the game is headed straight for the jugular as a mascot-driven racing game.
"It will definitely be a game that's cool, but also annoying, just like the Crazy Frog," said Stefan Heinemann, director for licensing company Wallaroo. "It's going to be a lot of fun."
Whether there will still be a market for the game when it's released is in doubt though, as the fad may well have blown over by the time the game hits this Christmas.
