Halo 2 Expands Online
New multiplayer maps set to arrive later this week.
With nearly 7 million copies sold since it launched in November, Halo 2 is clearly one of the stars of the current generation. Developer Bungie has made good on providing new content via Xbox Live over the past months, and later this week you'll be able to pick up the biggest update yet.
The Halo 2: Multiplayer Map Pack is a collection of new levels designed specifically to extend the multiplayer life of the game. The nine levels range in size and purpose, giving everyone, no matter their gameplay preferences, some more to sink their teeth into.
Microsoft and Bungie have been making the new maps available through Xbox Live over the past few months. The Halo 2: Multiplayer Map Pack, which also includes a 'Making Of' featurette and an animated side-story movie, will hit stores for £14.99 on Friday.
If that seems a bit dear, you can just wait until the end of August, when all nine maps will be made available for download without charge.
