Advance Wars Eyes the Front
We know it makes brand sense to call it "Advance" Wars, but it still doesn't make sense.
After a good June that saw several new games, things have cooled down again for Nintendo's twin-screen handheld. But fear not, because one of the most anticipated DS titles, Advance Wars: Dual Strike, is being geared up for action.
Advance Wars: Dual Strike is the next game in the Advance Wars series, which was a darling to many on the Game Boy Advance.
This new version allows you to use the unique features of the DS to wage cartoony war against the Black Hole Army on both screens, using the stylus to command your troops as you see fit.
In addition to the five singleplayer modes, Nintendo has also included support for wireless multiplayer, allowing up to eight generals to go at it at once.
Advance Wars: Dual Strike will try to spoil the PSP's coming out party when it launches for Nintendo DS on 30 September.
