A Celebration of All That is Blizzard
Fan of World of Warcraft? Back your bags - there's a show you need to attend.
If you've spent the last few months ensconced in the environs of World of Warcraft's lush plains and valleys you're more than likely itching to get out of the house and, who knows, perhaps take a vacation. In October you'll be able to combine your needs with a trip to BlizzCon in California.
Billed as a celebration of all that is Blizzard, BlizzCon is two days of orc-themed fun in sunny Anaheim, California. Over the course of the weekend you'll be able to join in the festivities and find out more about the past, present and future of Blizzard's empire from the creators themselves.
And whether you want to watch the top WarCraft and StarCraft players go head-to-head, get hands-on time with upcoming console action title StarCraft: Ghost or just soak up the unique atmosphere only a few thousand hardcore gamers can provide, BlizzCon is the place to be.
For more details about the event, head over to the official BlizzCon site. Be warned though - there are only 4,400 tickets for the show - at a princely $120 (£68) a pop - so you'll have to move quickly to secure your place.
