DS Puts You Under the Knife
New screens for one of the quirky, career games coming to the DS.
One of the interesting results of the DS's focus on gameplay is the rise of games where you live out seemingly menial (well, in video game terms) lives. An example of this is Trauma Centre: Under the Knife, a game in which you work as a doctor, performing operations and dealing with patients.
The heart of the game is the surgery itself, which is done using the stylus. Different kinds of wounds require different skills, and you're going to have to learn them all if you don't want your patients dying on the table.
Having that happen is, as those in the medical trade say, a bad thing, since you will have speak to patients and families as you wend your way through the story mode.
Trauma Centre: Under the Knife will be out on DS later this year.
