Evil Resurrected for Doom 3
The previously PC-exclusive expansion pack is PC-exclusive no more.
Fans of Id Software's Martian mayhem spectacle Doom 3 on Xbox can ready their nerves for redeployment to the demon-infested planet as the PC expansion Doom: Resurrection of Evil makes its way to Microsoft's game box.
The beefed up version features an expanded story, new weapons - including the double-barrel shotgun and a Half-Life 2-esque gun called the Grabber - and eight-way multiplayer, and unlike the PC expansion you won't need the original game to play it.
Activision, the game's publishers, has confirmed that Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil will be on show at this weekend's QuakeCon in Texas, so if you have to see it for yourself, you know where to go.
