Sega Lobs Virtua Tennis Onto the Net
The highly-anticipated volley-'em-up gets a home on the Internet ahead of its debut next month.
The PSP's launch in Europe next month will be largely devoid of titles not already available in the US or Japan, but there is one highly anticipated game that will be making its worldwide debut: Sega's Virtua Tennis World Tour.
Sporting the best portable tennis visuals to date and the trademark fluid and fun controls the series has built its reputation on, Virtua Tennis World Tour is already being lauded by critics.
Whatever you're looking for in a tennis game, Sega should have you covered. You can play as either a pro (from the top ranking men and women in the tennis world) or as a character you create yourself in the game's singleplayer or wireless multiplayer modes.
The game has been ported to Sony's new portable by Sumo Digital, the UK-based development house responsible for the well-received conversion of Sega's other recent arcade hit, OutRun 2.
Virtua Tennis World Tour will be out for PSP on September 1st. You can find out more about it at Sega's official site.
