Rockers and Nutter Get on the PSP
Iron Maiden and David Lynch see their hard work end up on Sony's new portable.
PSP owners with a penchant for the heavier stuff should spare a little cash for non-game items come the portable's launch day next month, as British rockers Iron Maiden will be one of the first bands to taste the musical possibilities of UMD.
The group's 2002 live recording Iron Maiden: Rock in Rio will headline publisher Sanctuary Visual Entertainment's line-up for PSP, which also includes INXS: Live Baby Live and Bob Marley: Live from Santa Barbara. Iron Maiden's effort will be released on 1 September while the latter two will be out on 12 September.
On 3 October, Sanctuary will give movies on UMD a go too with the release of director David Lynch's classic sci-fi adaptation of Dune and his ear-tormenting thriller Blue Velvet.
All of Sanctuary's initial PSP offerings will sell for £14.99.
