Everybody's Golfing on PSP and PS2
After a frustratingly long hiatus, the golf series comes back to Europe in a big way.
There's been much talk of the Everybody's Golf series returning to Europe next month on the PSP, but Sony has reminded everyone that there's a PlayStation 2 version coming too.
The Everybody's Golf series sees you taking to ever-harder golf courses using flamboyant and vibrant characters and one of the most rock-solid golfing systems around. Despite success overseas, the series has been missing from Europe since the days of the PlayStation.
Everybody's Golf for PSP is already a hit around the world. The game launched with the PSP in the US and Japan and it is consistently one of the best sellers on the console. The PSP version has more depth than any portable golf game before it, but it's still easily approachable for those just getting into the series.
The PlayStation 2 version works largely along the same lines but with the added bonus of allowing full online tournament play with up to 50 people. The console version is stuffed with 13 courses - more than twice that available on the PSP.
The portable version of Everybody's Golf for PSP will debut alongside the PSP on 1 September while the PlayStation 2 iteration will be out sometime later that month.
