Roses Rumble Onto Xbox 360
Konami's wrestling series jumps to Microsoft's next-gen console, gaining online play en route.
There are games that emphasise how you go about reaching your goal and then there are those that are clearly all about their looks, such as Rumble Roses XX, Konami's all-girl Xbox 360 wrestling sequel, which combines serviceable gameplay with visuals designed to distract.
Following up on this year's Rumble Roses, the Xbox 360 sequel's major improvement so far is clearly the jump in the quality of the graphics. The two-dozen-or-so stereotypical characters - schoolgirl, cowgirl, nurse and more - are able to pull off a range of standard moves, but they're imbued with skills related to their backgrounds too.
With the shift from PlayStation to Xbox 360, Rumble Roses XX has also picked up a wealth of on and offline multiplayer modes. Tag team matches will also allow the girls to team up for new attacks.
Konami has not mentioned when Rumble Roses XX will be out, but it's sure to be present in one form or another at next month's Tokyo Game Show in Japan.
