Codies Brings Custom Soundtracks to PSP
And you thought only the Xbox was currently able to support playing with your own tunes. For shame.
One of the unique features of the Xbox is its ability to let you listen to your own music while playing games. Microsoft was so pleased with it that the company has made custom soundtracks a requirement for all Xbox 360 games. And soon PSP owners will be able to give it a go too.
Codemasters revealed this week that it would be debuting its own custom soundtrack feature for its upcoming PSP driving game TOCA Race Driver 2.
All you need to do is visit Codemasters' site to download a utility called Exact Audio Copy that lets you copy music from your computer to the memory stick for use in TOCA Race Driver 2. Once your music has been transferred, you'll be able to while away the miles of racetracks to the tune of your favourites.
TOCA Race Driver 2 hits PSP on 1 September. You can find out more about it and Codemasters' other racer, Colin McRae Rally 2005 Plus, at the company's official site.
