Xenosaga Sequel Unfolds on PS2
It's coming to Europe, even though the first one didn't, but Sony has that covered too.
Though not everyone got into Square's religiously themed RPG Xenogears on the PlayStation, the game attracted enough attention that the creators decided to split off from the company to retell the story on an epic scale in Xenosaga.
The first game in the new series was released to mixed reviews in 2002 and now Namco is continuing the series with an exclusive and updated version of the sequel for Europe.
Xenosaga II: Jenseits von Gut und Bose picks up the story started in Xenosaga: Der Wille zur Macht (thanks Nietzsche for the names) and tells of a group of people locked in a struggle for all-dominating power with an alien race known as the Gnosis.
Don't worry if you didn't catch the first episode though - it wasn't released in Europe - as part of the bonus features, Namco is including a DVD that recaps the earlier events.
Xenosaga II: Jenseits von Gut und Bose will be out for PlayStation 2 on 28 October.
