Kingdom Under Fire Sequel Gets Date, Website
More RTS-cum-action gameplay coming to Xbox.
Some games put you in the thick of the action, hacking your way to victory, while others ask you to step back and control unfolding battles as a field commander. In Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes you do both.
The so-called action/real-time strategy title lets you get hands on with the warmongering as you lay into all manner of vile nasties, but the game also includes a substantial strategy gaming component, which forces you to be aware of what's happening on the entire battlefield.
And you won't just be playing by yourself either. Once you've built up your confidence in the deep singleplayer game - publisher Phantagram is promising 50 hours of gameplay - you'll be able to take to the Net to wage war over Xbox Live, and thanks to the included 2-month free trial, you won't even have to pay to try it out.
Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes will be out only on Xbox on 7 October. For more information, check out the game's official site.
