Katamari Rolls Onto the Web
Everyone's favourite ball-roller gets himself a home on the Net.
Europeans cruelly denied the joy of gathering clumps of household detritus in the original Katamari Damacy will soon be able to savour the simple - but not simplistic - pleasures of the series when the highly anticipated sequel, We Love Katamari, hits later this year.
And because such a large part of the experience is the infectious nature of the main players, Namco has come in early with an official Web site where you'll be able to get started loving all that is Katamari before the game even arrives.
Whether its wallpapers, screen buddies or simply screenshots and movies that you're after, the Katamari home page should have you covered. You'll even be able to send in pictures of your Katamari-based costumes for judging by the series creator Keita Takahashi.
We Love Katamari will be released in North America later this year with a European release to follow in 2006.
