Ubisoft Enthrones New Prince of Persia
Final name announced for the upcoming sequel to the popular videogame series.
Ubisoft has announced that the official subtitle for the next in the acclaimed Prince of Persia franchise - Prince of Persia The Two Thrones.
Scheduled to release in December, The Two Thrones takes the best features of the previous titles, The Sands of Time and Warrior Within, and combines new gameplay elements such as a second playable character, an intuitive Speed Kill system, outdoor Babylon environment, chariot combat racing and more.
One Ubisoft cource explained, "The Two Thrones will allow players to explore the two different sides of the Prince's divided soul. The Prince will battle with his inner demons and explore his alter ego. He'll struggle with the boundaries between good and evil in his quest to regain his rightful place as ruler of Babylon."
In the upcoming release, The Prince of Persia makes his way home to Babylon, along with Kaileena, the enigmatic Empress of Time, and unspeakable scars from the Island of Time. But instead of the peace he longs for, he finds his kingdom ravaged by war and Kaileena the target of a brutal plot. When she is kidnapped, the Prince tracks her to the Palace - only to see her murdered by a powerful enemy. Her death unleashes the Sands of Time, which strike the Prince and threaten to destroy everything he holds dear.
Sounds like it's going to be a busy time for would-be regal gamers this Christmas.
