London to be Overrun by Nintendoggies [Updated]
Launch event planned, and you can even bring your real-life pup along, should you have one.
No game exemplifies Nintendo's new approach to hassle-free and newcomer-friendly games better than Shigeru Miyamoto's latest pet project, Nintendogs. The game has already been a huge success on DS in Japan and the US (it sold 250,000 copies there in its first week) and now it's coming to Europe.
To celebrate the occasion, Nintendo is planning an early-morning store opening at the HMV on London's Oxford Street this Friday. You'll be able to bring your real-life pooch down to the store as you stand in line with other eager prospective virtual puppy owners.
The first 50 people who pick up Nintendogs will each be given a complimentary doggy bag of Nintendo swag - including a free DS game.
Below are the details for the event:
Location: HMV, 150 Oxford Street, London, W1
Date: Friday, 7 October, 8.00am
All dogs allowed
