EA Bumps FIFA Street for Sequel
More footie fun for those not impressed by realism in their sports games. First screens.
If traditional footie with its rules, regulations and restrictions of violence is a touch too formal for you, and you were a fan of last year's FIFA Street, you'll be pleased to hear that EA has decided to give the idea another go.
The FIFA Street franchise jettisons all the things that slow down the game and injects a wealth of attitude and, as EA puts it, flair.
It's not the type of experience that is going to drag in those with a penchant for realism in the video game football, but sales were, perhaps surprisingly, good enough last year that EA is continuing the franchise.
The game has apparently taken the sequel and turned all knobs to 11. More than 300 players from 20 international teams are slated for attendance.
FIFA Street 2 will be out for all current-gen consoles, PC and PSP next spring.
