Mario Kart Gets Flaming Red DS
With Zelda gone, Nintendo is focussing on its biggest game for the rest of the year. Bundleiscious images inside.
It's never easy being a fan of Nintendo's hardware, because the company is continually putting out newer, swankier versions that you just have to have.
Sure, these are actually meant to entice new buyers, but the Nintendo faithful will never be far behind. The latest desirable revised piece of kit in the offing is a new Mario Kart-themed DS.
Mario Kart DS is Nintendo's first big online game and the company is putting a lot of support behind it. In the US, Nintendo will release a bundle that contains the game and a bright red version of the DS with racing-themed stickers and wrist-strap. And coming in at $149 (£86), it's not only hot but a steal too.
Nintendo has yet to confirm whether the bundle will be making its way to Europe, but seeing as Mario Kart DS is probably the biggest game for the company for this Christmas (thanks to Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess's delay), it's a fair bet we'll see something similar announced soon.
Mario Kart DS will be in stores on 25 November.
