Sing and Dance on Konami's Stage
Combine singing and dancing for the ultimate in Christmas party shame. Booze not included.
Tired of singing in the shower? Longing to show off your voice and your moves in one convenient location? Pay attention - Konami has the game for you. Karaoke Stage 2006 is the follow-up to last year's Karaoke Stage and again it tasks you with belting out tunes with aplomb. But this time there's so much more.
The biggest new addition is a duet mode where you and a partner each grab a mic and croon away to classic sing-along tracks from the last few decades. You'll both be watched and your rating will be judged on how well you work together.
More interesting - and almost certainly more demanding - is the new Sing and Dance mode, which, as the name so concisely suggests, has you singing and dancing at the same time. You'll be able to hook up a mic and a dance mat to really show off your skills.
You'll even be able to use Sony's EyeToy camera to snap pictures of yourself that will be included in the game.
Karaoke Stage 2006 will be out only for PlayStation 2 in March.
