WWE Moves to PSP, Comes to UK
THQ reveals release date for the PSP version of its latest WWE SmackDown vs Raw title. And you'll be able to catch the superstar in action next week too.
Wrestling fans have had 11 November circled on their calendars for months already as the day when WWE SmackDown vs Raw! lands on the PlayStation 2. Now THQ has revealed that you'll be able to take your spandex hijinks on the road with you in the new PSP version of the game, which hits stores in December.
Along with the standard content included in its bigger brother, the PSP version of WWE SmackDown vs Raw! brings new features geared around the unique gameplay opportunities opened up by the PSP.
The most obvious of these is WiFi multiplayer, which allows you and up to three friends to beat the hell out of each. More interesting, perhaps, is that you'll be able to hook up the PSP and PlayStation 2 versions to unlock exclusive content.
To celebrate the PlayStation 2 game's entrance to the UK, the WWE is flying over some of its biggest superstars for a day of fun with British fans.
John Cena, Chris Masters, Trish Stratus, Candice Michelle, Carlito, Viscera, Kerwin White and Victoria are all scheduled to be at the THQ European Superstar Challenge, which takes place at Paparazzi in Manchester on 17 November.
