MS Succumbs, Releases 360 Launch Line-Up
With just over a week to go until the worldwide 360 debut, Microsoft has finally confirmed which games you'll be playing come day one. Full lists inside.
With the Xbox 360 now just weeks away from launch, Microsoft has finally confirmed which games you'll be able to get your hands on from day one. The 15-strong list has something for everyone and includes all three of Microsoft's in-house games.
As the biggest publisher in the world, EA's presence on the list is no surprise, but the breadth of the company's dedication to the Xbox 360 is on impressive display. EA will have five games at launch from its most popular sports lines.
There had been doubts in the weeks leading up the Xbox 360's European debut early next month about whether Rare's Perfect Dark Zero would make the cut, but Microsoft has confirmed that Joanna Dark will be joining Kameo: Elements of Power in stores for the opening.
If the games confirmed today aren't enough, Microsoft has given assurances that there will be more new games before the end of the year, including: Elder Scrolls: Oblivion (Bethesda), Dead or Alive 4 (Tecmo) and Ridge Racer 6 (Namco - available at US launch).
