Need for Speed Favourite for Xmas No. 1
EA's driving series looks to make it a repeat - or so the bookies say.
Still wondering where to put your money for the Christmas No.1? ELSPA and Ladbrokes have updated their odds list and an old face has once again dragged itself into the wise-money slot.
According to the latest estimates, this Christmas will see EA's Need for Speed Most Wanted, available for all current consoles, coming out ahead of the pack at the end of the year.
EA will be pleased with the upgrade to the odds for its latest Need for Speed entry, which follows in the tire tracks of last year's Christmas No. 1, Need for Speed Underground 2. Ladbrokes currently has the game priced at evens to finish first.
But the car franchise hasn't won just yet. Film cash-ins are still doing well with bookmakers and Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire, Chronicles of Narnia and King Kong are all currently priced at 6/1.
