New Live Modes Boost Burnout for 360
EA's breaks from form and actually adds new content to its 360 upgrade. First screens inside.
EA's Burnout Revenge is already a hit on current-gen consoles and it's getting an overhaul for its Xbox 360 debut later next year. Apart from the obvious graphics update, Burnout Revenge will come with new online modes built around the beefier Xbox Live.
Probably the most exciting of the new features is Live Revenge, a 360-only mode that tracks your opponents - even when you're not racing against them. You'll be able to see how that guy who earlier pushed you into the wall is doing now and challenge him anew to regain your honour.
A large part of the excitement in the Burnout series has always been the spectacular crashes and now you'll be able to share your jaw-dropping moments with people on Live using Save And Share. The service will even track which crashes are downloaded most often and keep an up to date list of the best of the best.
EA has used the power of the Xbox 360 to create a new level of automotive carnage. You'll have more freedom in controlling how crashes takes place and the horsepower of the console means you'll see it in more detail.
Burnout Revenge is out now for PlayStation 2 and Xbox. EA has yet to decide when the game will make its 360 debut, but it should be out early in the new year.
