Rumble Roses XX - New Screens, Videos, Flesh
And since the game is all about the visuals, this is just like owning the game early.
When you think of wrestling you typically think of giant men in coloured face paint hurling each other around a ring for fame and glory. But Konami wants to remind you that wrestling has a feminine side too.
One look at Rumble Roses XX, the next-gen debut of the series that started on PlayStation 2 last year, is enough to convince you that what Konami is after is not the most realistic interpretation of the mechanics of wrestling (though there has been some effort in that regard) but rather to perfectly capture the female form in as saucy a form as possible.
You won't find many men in this game, which is just as well, since the developer is catering to a very specific audience that come to the Rumble Roses franchise for looks first and gameplay second.
Konami is quick to point out that the 20 or so ladies that comprise the roster are treated as individuals, and as such they come with their own outlandish outfits and playing style.
Aside from the meticulous capturing of the women in their grappling glory, gameplay has also been beefed up to include tag-team matches that complement the one-on-one modes. You'll also be able to meet up with other fans of the female form for online matches over Xbox Live.
Look for Rumble Roses XX to excite teenagers when it launches during the first half of next year.
